This particular swing is usually hanging close to the ground, so the rope is only about four feet long. Kayston likes to take this swing and put in on the monkey bars. Funny boy puts it out far enough that the only way to get on it is stand on the ladder to the monkey bars, reach WAY out to grab the rope, and LEAP, wrapping his legs around the disk as he is swinging wildly. Sometimes it works, others, not so much! Dropping from a rope that has a big plastic disk at the end provides its own challenges!

So, I just happened to snap the photo at the precise moment, of "I made it, Gramma!"
