This is the only picture I was able to get of Stan's stay in the hospital!
He had almost 15 inches of colon removed! Owie!
Turns out, the rupture happened between two sections of small intestine that were touching, so the "stuff" was just going back and forth between the two sections, and not into his body cavity. Small mercies from a loving Heavenly Father.
Doc said if he'd have gone two or three more days, he would have died.
Tender mercies.
