Well. last night was our 4th Annual Lucky Leprechaun Sleepover! Four years we've been doing this and it is always a GREAT time!
It is all about the green! We never did get around to painting our "lucky" sign, but they took them home to paint.
Ducky was here long enough to have his picture taken, but then he had to go home with Mommy and Daddy. I really think these raspberries were his way of telling me he was put out that he didn't get to sleep over yet. Sorry buddy, you have to be four years old!
Let the trap building commence!
These two go ALL OUT to make sure the leprechauns are comfortable once they're caught! No leprechaun is going to escape with those toothpick spikes, that's for sure!
So proud of the finished product! Notice the guard dogs!
Then we made and decorated cupcakes to deliver to the neighbors.
They actually got there with no mishaps!
I don't know which is more fun...catching leprechauns, or BEING leprechauns!
We had a fun time playing "Leprechaun Bingo" with M&M's as the markers.
Funny how we were always out of markers!

You remember how leprechauns can turn into whatever they want when caught? Well this year, they turned into BALLOONS and hid in the basement. Both boys woke up in the middle of the night, sure they heard the sneaky little pixies! Neither of them could go back to sleep for a long time, knowing there were leprechauns in the house! We searched for them everywhere, but they were way too sneaky! My guess is that they were frightened by the boys almost catching them red-handed, that they changed in the middle of the night! Who knew that leprechauns were scaredy-cats!
We did however, get lucky enough to grab some pots of gold!
Last year, the green breakfast wasn't much of a hit, so this year, we just had a normal breakfast. Grampa is always good for a great breakfast!
One more successful leprechaun hunt! Until next year, my favorite little hunters!
Now, it's time for the Gramma to have a nap!
