WE DID IT!
We caught us a couple of wee leprechauns! AND some of their gold, to boot!
The little devils caused havoc around Gramma's house,
so I hired some experts to help me capture them!
The imps:
- Dyed the toilet water green
- Dyed the handsoap green
- Dyed the SALT green in the shaker
- Dyed the milk green
- Turned the swings and chairs upside down in the basement
- Left little green footprints all over the front porch and sidewalk
We got 'em though! First, we ate some green macaroni and cheese to make ourselves "leprechaun-proof", then we set some marvelous traps for them.
Everyone knows that when a leprechaun gets caught, he spills his treasures and turns into paper. Sure enough!
Kayston was actually a little afraid after we set the traps,
so he slept in the guest room instead of in the family room.
He wanted to eat the leprechaun for breakfast! Great kid!
Ayden didn't quite know what was really going on, he just laughed a lot at all the silliness.
We threw in a trip to the park (mostly so Gramma could sit on the bench and catch a breather!) then we went home and had popcorn with green salt.

Fun times! These kids are so lucky to have such an awesome Gramma! Kayston couldn't stop talking about the Leprechaun turning to paper. He had a blast!!
