Michelle brought the kids to see us at the cannery, where we are serving a service mission. So happy to see them! It's always fun when family come to see us!
We dressed the two older kids in complete outfits as if they were going to go into the canning room. Declan only got the cap, and as you can see, is absolutely thrilled! Then Grampa took Ayden in the canning room to help can some real food! He was so excited to be eight years old, which is just the age when you can go in and help.
Notice the shoes? Ayden had sandals on, and the rule is your toes have to be covered in case something falls. The manager took off her shoes and let Ayden wear them! He was totally okay with it...whatever it took so he could go help Grampa!
It's never too early to start them thinking about food storage!
